Step 3: Add your Pet

Open the WagTag app and follow these steps:

1. Create a free account.

2. Tap the + Add Pet button.

3. Scan the QR code on the back of your WagTag using your phone’s camera when prompted.

4. Fill in your pet’s details, tap Finish, and you’re done!

 

Step 4: Attach the WagTag

Loop the WagTag onto your pet’s collar using the included split ring. If your pet ever goes missing, anyone who scans the tag can quickly reach you — no app required on their end.

 

That’s It!

If someone finds your pet and scans the WagTag, you’ll be notified instantly via a WagTag app notification on your mobile phone.

Try it out

1. Open the camera app on your phone and hold it over the QR code on the back of your WagTag pet tag.

2. Your camera will recognise the QR code and prompt you to open a web page.

3. Fill out the form on that page to report your pet as found.

4. Within about 60 seconds, you’ll receive a notification from the WagTag app letting you know your pet has been reported as found.

Tip: If someone finds your pet, they can also visit www.wagtag.com.au and enter the tag ID printed below the QR code to report your pet as found.
