Step 2: Download the App

Step 3: Add your Pet

Open the WagTag app and follow these steps:

1. Create a free account.

2. Tap the + Add Pet button.

3. Scan the QR code on the back of your WagTag using your phone’s camera when prompted.

4. Fill in your pet’s details, tap Finish, and you’re done!

 

Step 4: Attach the WagTag

Loop the WagTag onto your pet’s collar using the included split ring. If your pet ever goes missing, anyone who scans the tag can quickly reach you — no app required on their end.

Step5: Try it out!

1. ​Open the camera app on your phone and point it at the QR code on the back of your WagTag pet tag.

2. Tap the link that appears on your screen.

3. Follow the prompts to report your pet as found.

4. A Pet Found alert will appear on the Home screen of the WagTag app.

5. Within about 60 seconds, you and your WagTag friends should receive an app notification letting you know your pet has been reported as found.

Remember to add trusted family and friends as WagTag friends so they can be notified if your pet is reported lost or found.

Tip: If someone finds your pet, they can also visit www.wagtag.com.au and enter the tag ID printed below the QR code to report your pet as found.
