How to setup your Emergency Keyring
Step 1: Get your WagTag Emergency Keyring
Visit our order page and request your free WagTag.
Step 2: Download the App
Step 3: Link the keyring to your WagTag account
Open the WagTag app and follow these steps:

Go to the Me screen.

Tap the Scan / Link Keyring button.

Scan the QR code on the back of your keyring using your phone’s camera when prompted.

You’re done!
Step 4: Attach the keyring
Loop the WagTag emergency keyring onto your keys using the included split ring. If you are ever in an accident, first responders can scan the QR code on the back of your keyring to let your WagTag friends know you have pets at home that you are unable to care for.
Step 5: Try it out!
Add some friends to the WagTag app. Then let them know you’re about to send a test notification, then follow these steps:

Open the camera app on your phone.

Point the camera at the QR code on the back of your keyring.

Tap the link that appears on your screen.

The WagTag Notify Emergency Contacts web page will open. Follow the prompts to send a test notification.
That’s it! Open the WagTag app and you’ll see the test post on your Home screen. Your WagTag friends will also receive an app notification alerting them to the post.
Remember to add trusted family and friends as WagTag friends so they can be notified if an emergency happens and your pets need care.
